We currently have an opening for a Software Test Engineering Coop

 

Responsibilities: 

As part of a team made up of Software and Test Engineers, you will
assist in the specification, development, debugging and execution of
automated and manual tests for Caliper's instrumentation products using
state of the art software development and test tools. 

 

Requirements: 

You must be enrolled in a Software Engineering or Computer Science BS
program (or related program) and have completed studies through
sophomore year. Excellent analytical and communication skills are
necessary. 

 

Opportunities for Growth: 

You will get a variety of job experiences working with our automation,
microfluidic and imaging products. You will gain an understanding about
how these types of products are designed and manufactured from a system
and software perspective. You will have hands on engineering experience
analyzing functionality, determining tests, using automated test tools
such as QTP as well as writing test harnesses to test our products. You
will also get a chance to help debug issues found with the software
while learning about software lifecycle management. Calipers products
are primarily implemented in a variety of Microsoft technologies
including XML, .Net, VB 6.0, VB.NET, C#, and C++.

I have attached the position description for a coop that we recently
gained approval for.

 

I know we are a bit late.  I was hoping that you could let me know if
there are any students still looking for coops this season.
