S60 Mobile Browser Burlington, MA

 

This exciting opportunity will allow you to test applications S60 mobile
web browser operating on millions of devices around the world. The S60
Browser redefines how mobile users navigate the web through an open
source tools that operates on multiple devices. The R&D Browser
Engineering Team is helping to lead the way for Nokia's continued push
in the emerging mobile internet industry. 


Purpose

Test enhancements to Nokia S60 mobile browser including new applications
and new devices yet to be released to the public. To verify
functionality, detect, isolate, and report defects in Nokia Mobile
Browser software. This browser has open source engine developed in C/C++
and uses Symbian OS. Work closely and effectively with software
developers in order to ensure timely delivery for defect fixes.

Main Responsibility Area
Execute existing test procedures and tools according to established test
plans and methods.
Work with code coverage tools for dynamic and static code coverage
analysis with various test suites.
Isolate and duplicate software failures and produce detailed reports of
verified and suspected problem areas. Verify fixes for reported problems
Maintain existing test plans, methods, and test tools.
Document defect reports and test summary / status reports
Assist in the design and development of effective test tools.

 

Requirements
Experience from using mobile browsers would be a benefit.
Currently pursuing undergraduate studies in Computer Science or
comparable degree. 
Knowledge in HTML and Java Script.
Test new software products, report defects, assist with debug.
