NOKIA Web Application Engineer Internship Summer 08
S60 Mobile Browser Burlington, MA
This exciting opportunity will allow you to work on S60 mobile web
browser operating on millions of devices around the world. The S60
Browser redefines how mobile users navigate the web through an open
source tools that operates on multiple devices. The Browser Engineering
Team is leasing helping to lead the way for Nokia's continued push in
the emerging mobile internet industry.
You will work with software engineering and product management teams in
the development new tools and widgets for browser enhancement. These
tools will advance the everyday use of the internet on Nokia devices.
Your work will play a key contribution to product management tasks for
S60 Browser and the Web Application Platform, including product
analysis, competitive benchmarking, exploratory use, prototyping and
documentation.
Requirements:
* Should be a student working toward a degree in Computer
Science, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
* Knowledge of core web technologies like HTML, XML, DOM, CSS,
JavaScript, RSS etc. and protocols like HTTP is considered an advantage.
* Exposure to working with Open Source Communities or
professional Open Source development is considered an advantage.
