Summer Intern

Systems Administration Intern

Department Information:  

The Systems Asset Management group and the Project Management Office
(PMO) are part of the Quality Management and Administration Division.
The Asset Management group is responsible for all technology
acquisitions and technology leasing.  The group utilizes Computer
Associates Asset Portfolio Management (APM) system to manage and report.
The APM system will be upgraded this summer and help is needed to
execute this project.  The PMO supports firm-wide project management and
has three summer projects which also require assistance.

 

 

Job Description:

Assist in the execution of projects related to application system
upgrades and other initiatives. Duties include:

-          assist the project manager in tasks related to execution

-          perform user-acceptance testing and document findings

-          develop documentation related to processes and system flow
diagrams

-          attend project status meetings 

 

The intern would work closely with the project manager(s) and team
members on project deliverables and reporting. 

 

Qualifications:

*	Required:  Working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
Familiarity with Windows XP, application software, and database systems.
*	Knowledge of Project Management and Project Management software
(i.e., MS Project, Workbench, etc.)  
*	Knowledge of Lotus Notes a plus but not required

 

 

Location:                     Boston Office, 50 Milk Street

Duration:                     June through end of August 2008

Compensation:                         This is a paid internship.

Hi Lindsey, 

Attached below is an internship position I would like to post for
Computer Science students at BU.  This is more of a Management
Information Systems position, but CS students would certainly qualify as
well.  Of course, if BU has an MIS program, this would be geared
specifically to those students.
